Are you ready for Valentine's day?

Here's a list of a few of my favourite romantic Italian restaurants to try -
CECCONI'S - Here they have an amazing grilled octopus, I also love the Branzino it's a delicious white fish served with cherry tomatoes, celery and capers, Or try the Plin Agnoloti, Small Raviloi like dish stuffed with beef, veal and pork, drizzled a light butter and sage sauce. Add the  white truffles, cheaper than most places and amazing truffles. - Nice upscale crowd.
IL SOLE - Dover Sole is incredible here and they have a great wine selection
IL CIELO - Zuppa di Pesce - Clams, Calamari, Hawaiian Blue Prawns, Mussels, and White Fish served in a Light, Spicy Tomato Broth - Is great for sharing and very flavourful - sit on the patio and look up to the stars.

BRITS ON STAGE

The reviews are in and "Me, As A Penguin" is a hit. The most obvious asset this sweet, quirky play by Tom Wells offers is the chance for four actors to prove their skills. And prove them they do, under the direction of John Pleshette.

But ponder a bit, and the play seems to say we can mend our mistakes, change our minds, request a Mulligan. Thomas Wolfe be damned, you can go home again.-Backstage. "actors are excellent...impeccable direction. Lots of laughs.” - Examiner Liz (played by Mina Badie) and Mark (played by Craig Robert Young) play a pleasant young couple who alternate between kooky, loving and bickering. Nicely rounding out the cast as comic “straight men”, they especially shine in a couple of touching scenes with Stitch. - LA Theatre review.
The Lost Studio Theatre. Set in Hull, written by Brit Playwright Tom Wells, also starring BLA member Jamie Donovan. (Runs just over an hour) more info and tickets here www.measapenguin.com

Russell Brand will host Saturday Night Live next Saturday - According to Entertainment Weekly, the Get Him to the Greek star will make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on February 12. And if Brand is up to his usual tricks, this should be positively scandalous on so many levels. He took to Twitter on Tuesday (February 1) to tease his upcoming appearance. "I am hosting Saturday Night Live, Feb 12th. If you have any sketches/jokes please send. Remember, I will ONLY play drug addicts."

HEALTH INSURANCE NEWS
The health care reform bill that President Obama signed states that starting in the month of September; preventative care screenings now have to be covered by health insurance companies. This is great news for health insurance policy holders. Many people had to pay out of pocket before for their preventative care screenings. This measure will help people catch potentially dangerous diseases and illnesses before they become life threatening.
