Brits in LA Newsletter February 14th
This weeks newsletter is brought to you by Mike Sullivan’s Santa Monica!
Hope you are all having a great week? I have been completely consumed with making my Toscar entry. My team just finished filming our version of 127 Hours! If you are not quite sure what The Toscars are, you can read all about them here
Happy Birthday to Brit in LA members, Lynn Jose, Emrhys Cooper, Ali London, Leelu Morris, Christy Lee Hughes, Poppy Webster, and Katie Goldfinch!
Facebook has been playing silly buggers this week and not sending out the invites to everyone! If you want to come to Breakfast Club on Tuesday, RSVP here
If you are looking to lease or buy a car but are having trouble getting the credit to do so, look no further. Mike Sullivan’s Volkswagen Santa Monica have found a loophole in the system and are able to offer the Foreign Business Professionals Plan. Speak to Joe Seymour over at the showroom and he will go through all the details with you.

Brits in LA member Chris Livingstone plays bass. They have a show coming up this Saturday, Spaceland (now Satellite) with Admiral Radley / Sea of Cortez on Sat Feb 19th!

Steve wants to tell you about a gym he has just discovered. Being a drummer he needs to be super fit and always ready to play a 2 hour show at the drop of a hat. He has recently started training at the Sweat Garage on Fairfax and says “it really is the best thing I’ve ever done”. They have classes from 6.30 in the morning until 8.30 at night, so there is really no excuse not to get fit. Especially great for those of you who are here short term, as there are no annual sign up fees or memberships required. Christopher Slevin is the owner and believes “A healthy body is a happy body” is a way of life. You can’t argue with that! Check out the website and sign up for a class on line! Let me know what you think….http://www.sweatgarage.com/
