Directed by David Mackenzie

TONIGHT YOU'RE MINE is a free-wheeling rock 'n' roll love story set against the raucous magnificence and unforgettable sounds at a leading music festival - The T in the Park festival in Kinross-shire, Scotland.  Directed by David Mackenzie (YOUNG ADAM, MISTER FOE, PERFECT SENSE), TONIGHT YOU'RE MINE features a young, up-and-coming cast, including Luke Treadaway (BROTHERS OF THE HEAD, CLASH OF THE TITANS), Natalia Tena (Game of Thrones, HARRY POTTER), Alastair Mackenzie (PERFECT SENSE), Gavin Mitchell (STILL GAME) and Sophie Wu (KICK ASS). The film was produced by Mackenzie's long-time producer Gillian Berrie (PERFECT SENSE, MISTER FOE) and written by Thomas Leveritt. Leveritt, is an award-winning author whose novel  The Exchange-Rate between Love and Money  won the Betty Trask Award and the Somerset Maugham Award for first novel.  As an artist, he has twice been runner up in the BP National Portrait Competition.

Adam (Treadaway) and Morello (Tena) have a big problem.  It's not that Adam is the heartthrob lead singer in a famous electropop band or that his girlfriend is a spoiled supermodel.  His problem is Morello's problem.  Morello's problem isn't that she's lead singer in a struggling post-punk riot girl band or that she's dating a banker.  No, her problem is that she has to perform the biggest gig of her life at a music festival while handcuffed to the kind of person she totally despises - Adam.  So begins an out-there odd-ball romantic comedy filled with lust, mud, betrayal, booze, portaloos and a hundred thousand people partying to the greatest music in the world.  None of whom seems to have the key - not to the meaning of life - but to the handcuffs.

Roadside Attractions will release TONIGHT YOU'RE MINE in Los Angeles and New York on May 11 followed by a national release.  The film opens in Los Angeles at Landmark's Nuart Theatre.

Brits in LA member Larry Jaffee is coming to LA April 20-29 for BritWeek where he is debuting 'UK:Cue', for which he can use some southern California sales help if you know
UK:Cue is the first media brand to cover the cultural exchange that
goes on between the US & UK in film, theatre & television. It's an
unserved, affluent niche (theatre-goers,
art film fans, PBS watchers, etc.).
He recently started blogging for Huffington Post UK and had the
featured post last Monday morning for my column "Why Streep Won":
He is also writing regularly for Rock's Back Pages, and in fact covering

Last month he successfully aised $5,000 through Kickstarter to cover printing of
UK:Cue (still haven't settled on a printer):

He has got plenty of editorial (including top entertainment writers)
that's in the process of being edited and designed, and a great cover
that will be done early next week. The cover story is on Carey Mulligan, penned by Sight &
Sound's Graham Fuller.

Brits in LA member Dee Standley is organizing a charity polo match and wants you all to come
Charity Polo Match in aid of Girls and Boys club and the children of Camp Pendleton.

Charity Polo Match on May 12th, in Temecula and another in LA at the Will Rogers Polo Club on June 23rd

We are raising money for the Celebrity Foundation for Children which is run out of Newport Beach - and they provide much needed opportunities for children to have weekends away, camping at the Celebrity Ranch.

Children who are regular visitors are those from the Boys and Girls Club and many from children of Camp Pendleton Marine Base, who all have a parent that is deployed overseas.
Sadly, a staggering statistic; 872 Marines from camp Pendleton have died in Iraq and over 600 have died in Afghanistan. The children on the base are living in constant fear of losing their father or mother while serving our Country and when the flag is lowered to half staff, they are wondering whether this relates to their parent.

While living at Camp Pendleton, they have become “our children” and we owe it to their parents to take care of them while they are deployed. The Celebrity Ranch has been hosting these families for the past 5 years and last year, 2001 – they donated the entire month of August to the families of the Marines and Navy stationed here in Southern California. In fact, over 1000 family members will participate in weekend camps, family BBQs and vacations. Many of the children get to come and camp, feed the animals at the ranch and have camp fires and Smores ( something that many of them have never done)
Your participation in my Polo events or donations, would mean the world to me and would help provide even more children the opportunity to come and stay at the ranch for camping weekends – giving them a break from the military world – if only for a weekend.

The purchase of a box at our match or just organizing a box amongst your friends and colleagues is an act of kindness and gratitude to our local armed forces. We guarantee you will have a fun filled time with endless food, wine and champagne and of course, the excitement of a Polo match. Our boxes are $600 and will accommodate 8 people, comfortably. All of our Polo Players are donating their horses and time and we have a team traveling from Bel Air to play us on May 12th.

We will be hosting a Pimms tent and whiskey tastings also – with the good ole traditional British flare of Fish n Chips etc ~ and so much more.
Email Dee for more info and how to purchase tickets.
