-- Hi Breeps
And Fathers out there - Hope you had a legs up, pint in hand kind of day yesterday -If so You deserved it! if not ask yourself what can you do better next year -(wink wink)
So wanted to say a huge thank you to all those that took the time to vote for us in the Chase and living social $250k grant competition last week we reached over 250 votes which puts us into consideration.
We are working on some really exciting things coming up for you this summer. An Olympics opening ceremony viewing party and Our 5th anniversary party at the beginning of August, we are currently scouting locations, and have come across some really exceptional possibilities - stay tuned for those details.
I kicked off my theatre week this week with attending 'The 24 hour Plays' at the Broad Theatre in Santa Monica. An annual fundraiser for Urban Arts Partnership. Actors, writers and directors get together at 8pm on Friday night and are split into groups (a bit like The Toscars) and have 24 hours in which to produce 6 short plays. It's really a lot of fun seeing actors like Joshua Jackson (Fringe) in love with a tree, Rosie Perez die a terrible over melodramatic death and Brooklyn Decker dress as a mechanic. The benefit, presented by Montblanc, helped raise more than $200,000 for Urban Arts.  I feel this is a must for theatre lovers next year.
This week, I continue my play time. First up, the fantastic Maria Elena Infantino will be reprising her role in "PIAF" at the Gardenia on Tuesday, Wednesday is bLA members John Mawson and Mario Vernazza in the critically acclaimed "The Secret of Sherlock." Then the spectacular "Warhorse" at the Ahmason. Then on Saturday we are so very fortunate to have a special Brits in LA night at LA Theatre works hosted by the brilliant British actor Julian Sands. Our current Consulate General - Dame Barbara Hay will also be in attendance. And an opportunity to meet the cast afterwards in a wine reception -All the details for all these events are below in the Upcoming Event section.
Well i hope to see some of you out and about at some of these things.

Keep cool out there and cheers to England tomorrow  - Hope you win!!!!--

Terence Rattigan’s 1948 masterpiece about a schoolmaster who must give up his 18-year post at an English public school. Brilliantly exploring the complexity of the human heart, it also predates Edwards Albee’s "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" in its scathing examination of a marriage. A contemporary of Noël Coward and Somerset Maugham, Rattigan’s wit and depth remain timeless.

Weekly Stars with Anne Shaw
email Anne at for a private reading
It’s the time to plan ahead for a trip in early next  month. This may be pleasure or business ideally it should be a bit of both. Keep an eye on your diet this month ahead for  your health sake .

Your  priority should be taking care of you in any area that requires attention. and this may be your health as your ruler Venus is acting up so any area of your life that requires attention shows.

If you feel you need to make a move in settling some kind of work or emotional situation but are not sure how will be received  right now it will be easier as the week proceeds. Have A Happy Birthday

You will have to be aware this next week to not speak out of turn or harshly to any one .The consequences are not something easily repaired so be sure to keep a zip on your mouth even if its only metaphorically to remind you

This is a time for the inner strength to reveal  itself for some of you who are not happy about some situation . Life just is, so not much we can do about it other than accept what you cant change. Don’t take it so personally.

Its time for a trip short or long . Just make sure you have caught up with what ever is unfinished and then get going. You have not had the most peaceful of times of late so this will come as a welcome respite.

Relationships are highlighted this month as Mars is going to be visiting you for a while soon stroll so make sure you are as charming as you can be and with the right people .Who knows what summer sunshine will bring.

Due to adverse planetary activity affecting the water signs this past few weeks you will be not as in good spirits recently as you normally are. If you look inside for the answer to what made you feel not good you will see that its all in the lesson learned.
If you want to change anything waiting around for others to make the first move is not a good idea. Your lucky ruler Jupiter is now exactly opposite you in Gemini and will give you the fortitude to hang  on until decisions are made for the good.

.You are the most responsible sign of the Universe usually how ever even you are allowed time out and as the week moves along make time to play .Be sure you let those that matter in work  you are only taking a well deserved time out .
You are probably feeling a bit frustrated this week .Well that’s life for you so take a break and do not let your duties frustrate you .If you did not have a purpose in life it would dull for you.
The planets are really on your side this month however as with all water signs you let your feelings take control sometimes so watch you don’t upset someone who does not “get” you. Neptune in your life is bringing things to a conclusion.
