Top 5 British Pubs in LA

Following on from the poll we took to crown the best British pub in Los Angeles, we have compiled a list of the top five pubs as voted by you, starting with our winner, The Kings Head II in Studio City! 

1. The Kings Head II

Opening its doors just last year, the Kings Head II is brother pub to Ye Old Kings Head in Santa Monica and voted number one British Pub by the members of Brits in LA.

2. Cat and Fiddle Pub and Restaurant

6530 West Sunset Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90028
Originally opened by British Musician Kim Gardener 30 years ago, The Cat and Fiddle Pub and Restaurant is steeped in Hollywood history. Originally opened in Lauren Canyon, the pub was so successful they were forced to move to the larger and more commercial location of Hollywood and it is now run by Kim's wife and daughter, Paula and Ashlee Gardener. 
They also serve great food and have a separate 'Gluten Free' menu aswell as a Doggie menu if you wish to treat your pooch to dinner. Menu's can be viewed here

3. Ye Olde Kings Head

An old LA favorite, Ye Old Kings Head has been open for over 35 years and has developed a fine reputation. With pub, dining area, outdoor patio and gift shop all just steps from the beach, the pub is definetly worth a visit. If you are a sports fan, they show all of the premiere league football matches, rugby, baseball, basketball and Wimbeldon, ofcourse!

4. The Pikey

The Pikey is more reminicsent of a gastropub than a traditional pub and where Brits in LA host their monthly Sunday Roast which are to die for. Here are links to their Brunch, Lunch and Dinner menus. 

5. The Village Idiot

Los Angeles, CA 90046
The Village Idiot combines a modern pub with neighbourhood charm. Their mantra: 'No attitude, No pretences, no reservations. Now act accordingly.' The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home here and they have some delicious items on the menu including the signature savoury pies. You can view their food and cocktail menus here
