Steve Sidelnyk's Christmas Cracker Football Blog 20th December 2013

All change please.................... not only the mantra of the national rail network in Great Britain but also fast becoming the norm at what every club changes managers in this years Barclays Premier League!

Rewind selector to last Saturday and the first Clash of the titans was Man City versus Arsenal and a team that has had 15 managers in the same time as Arsne Wenger the Gunners boss has steered his side to qualifying for every Champions League competition and countless other achievements. Arsenal being league leaders and in superb form failed to show up in the second half and a walloping 6-3 to City and Ozil appearing to be repramanded by Mertesacker his fellow German team player perhaps show that really the pressure is starting to affect the moral with the number of games coming up over the Christmas period too its going to be very interesting to see who is gonna be on top of the table then.

Did I mention that West Brom's manager was replaced a couple of weeks ago???? Cue Sunday and after the thrashing of Spurs by Man City, Andre Villas Boas appeared to have pulled together a string of victories that put them back in the running for Europe and playing well in europe too, a home game Christmas cracker that saw them lose 5-0 to a rampant Liverpool team it was bye-bye AVB!!!!!!! Dont think it helped when a Spurs mascot refused to shake Luis Saurez's hand and blew a raspberry instead......he went and scored a couple of goals : O )

Back to Saturday Everton did a nice job of beating Fulham 4-1, Cardiff beat West Brom , Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham, Sunderland, Hull and Stoke all drew. Crystal Palace dominated much of the game but Chelsea still managed to win 2-1 but even playing at home looked a little lack-lustre.

Fast Forward to Sunday and Norwich all even with Swansea but guess who won and looked very good......that's right Man Utd demolished Aston Villa at home and go back up to 8th only 7 points off a Champions League spot now.....

Oh just heard that Cardiff City are gonna replace their gaffer too : O (

Its a short blog coz I'm just about to go Christmas Shopping which might involve some liquid refreshment!

A Very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year to everyone!
