Train for only 4 minutes a day to hit your body goals? We all live busy lives and there are a lot of people who claim that they simply don’t have time to go to the gym for a long cardio workout orstrength training routine. The good news is you don't need to spend hours on thetreadmill or ellipticalto burn some serious fat. All you need is four minutes. Curious?The type of training I am referring to is a different form ofHigh Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)called Tabata. The basis of Tabata Training is four minutes of intense interval training/circuit training. A good example is sprinting for 20 seconds and then walking for 10 seconds - Repeat 7 more times for a total of 8 sets (which equals approximately four minutes). Tabata Training can be done with a number of different exercises. The idea is to use an exercise that gets the whole body involved, or at least the major muscle groups. Not all Brits in LA members are Brits - Meet Maria Elena who hails from Italy, and moved from Rome 2.5 years ago to pursue acting and singing ( if you haven't seen her sing live we highly recommend her show) !



Was there a particular reason you chose LA ?
Life just brought me here and I followed its advice gladly!
What one thing do you miss from home?
Not much... I really feel like LA is my spot on earth!

What do you find the biggest difference is living here versus the UK (or Italy in your case!) ?

The weather of course, and going to the theatre is not the same experience as in London's West End!

Do you have a hidden gem in LA that you want to share with us?
I really like going to the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills for brunch on sundays , you can eat as much as you like for $75...not the cheapest option,but really fun!!!

BOXING CLEVER: Jamie Robinson Was there a particular reason you chose LA? LA is the home of boxing training, pretty much everyone that is any good trains here so you get crazy good sparring sessions – better than some fights! What one thing do you miss from home? Literally nothing! My wife and kid live here in LA and I have everything I need. I will never leave! What do you find the biggest difference is living here versus the UK?  The weather and people are much nicer and more positive. Do you have a hidden gem in LA that you want to share with us? The 35er in Pasadena is my favorite bar to hang out in! It’s a great vibe What would you suggest to others who are thinking about making the move here?  Make sure you do your research on visas and work out places to stay while you get on your feet.
