Meet Adele Heather Taylor from Leicestershire who moved to LA 5 years ago to pursue her acting career.

Was there a particular reason you chose LA?
Romance brought me here! I moved to be with my husband, who's a screenwriter. Now, the entertainment industry is what keeps us here.

What do you miss most from home?
Family, Cadbury's chocolate, real pubs and West End theatre.

What was your first impression of LA and has it changed since? If so why?
My first impression was that everyone looks like they're on holiday 27/4! I've since realised that it's largely due to the wide range of occupations people have here - everyone's schedule is just totally different to back home.

What do you find the biggest difference is living here versus Leicestershire?
I'd say the politics in America are the biggest difference for me personally. I'm talking healthcare, gun laws etc. Americans often think the U.K. and the U.S. are very similar, but there are quite a few big diffe…
