Hi Everyone!
April is certainly living up to its name with all these April Showers we have been having this week! Time to get the wellies out again! I splashed out (pun definitely intended) on a pair of Hunters last Christmas. They have a fabulous selection at Nordstroms if you fancy a pair yourself?

April for me and those around me seems to be a time to get financial stuff in order. I am sure this is partly to do with the looming tax filing deadline (April 15th), but I also see it as a spring cleaning of sorts. This week I wanted to share a few of my frugal tips with you,as even though I have been here over 17 years, I am still discovering new things all the time. I recently came across a brilliant money monitoring app called Mint. If you don’t have a smart phone you can also use it on your computer by visiting . It categorizes everything you spend and has helped me tremendously with keeping an eye my spending patterns. It really has motivated me to budget more wisely, as I was able to see clearly where I was wasting my hard earned cash.

Air miles are the next money saving tip I have for you - make sure you collect them at every opportunity. It is surprising how many people I speak to who don’t bother.  I recently went to a wedding in Portland and was able to fund the entire trip this way. I actually don’t fly that often so I collect air miles in other ways. American Airlines has a dining program; if you register your cards with them you earn miles every time you eat out or even just go for drinks! I also have a loyalty credit cards  for  United and Southwest Airlines - so if I eat at a participating restaurant and use one of those cards not only do I earn air miles with them but also with AA! For those of you who collect Virgin Air miles I cannot recommend their Shops Away program enough!
I recently had a home improvement project to complete and spent hundreds of dollars at Home Depot, who are a participating provider with Shops Away. Instead of spending hours wandering aimlessly around the aisles looking for products I had seen on the website, I ordered everything on the internet through the Virgin Atlantic program, then selected ‘pick up in store’, hopped in the car to Home Depot where everything was boxed up and waiting for me at the Customer Service desk. Not only did this save time (time = money!) but I earned 100’s of air miles in the process!  Target, The Apple Store, Sephora, Nordstom (my wellies earned me 6 miles per $1 spent!)  and Office Depot are among the many others that participate - so it really is easy to shop this way. Make sure to pay off any credit cards in full each month as otherwise it is not beneficial at all.
I can’t finish this without mentioning the Brits in LA Key Member program to this money saving list - 50% off Cecconi’s Breakfast or Monday Night’s, 25% off at The Pikey, 10% off at Palihouse and 15% off Brooks Brothers are all discounts not to be sniffed at! A Demo Reel or Showreel, is one of the most powerful tools an actor can have. Yet it always surprises me how many poorly presented ones I see out there. Unprofessional or lazy editing will make the project look cheap and will reflect badly on you.
First impressions go such a long way in this town, I'd like to say that it's all based on depth and inner beauty, but as we're the world's capital for Botox and plastic surgery, I think it's safe to say Hollywood likes something else too. We believe our work will only be as strong as its weakest link, and In a media savvy world where people make judgments in a matter of seconds, attention to detail is everything. You wouldn't hand in your Resume on a crumpled bit of paper,  you'd probably buy a folder, or possibly a portable iron. Invest in an amazing Reel.
Right now we’re offering a whopping $100 OFF as in introductory rate. Plus additional discounts for all you lovely Brits.

With your boss Mars going backwards in your life there are good and not so good outcomes .The one that will be positive will show up this month .The rest is out of your control and its best to leave it be.

On the upside you can expect a call from someone from the past and this time you need to be upfront honest and yes! speak very frankly about your feelings. You will likely want a holiday soon wait until mid May.

The sun in your cousin sign of Aries will bring out your mellow side and it favors getting a handle on any part of life that you are not resolved with as you will be in the right frame of mind to deal with it now.

The consequences are long reaching for you especially if  you have not reconciled with who or what is not resolved .The self deceiving Neptune in your cousin sign of Pisces can make you somewhat melancholy for a few weeks ahead.

Yes this is a time for the inner artist to show itself for some of you who are not participating in life as you know you can. This week could end on a note of self pity if you don’t take action now.

Its time for a trip and short or long near or far matters not as you benefit from the change of scenery. Just make sure you wait until mid month as the planets will be better lined up then for you.

You have a planets going backwards right now so first do not travel before end of the month unless you have to and then be careful. .If some one asks help for financial aid in any area be sure you get it in writing.

You are getting more at peace with things in your life these days .With your boss Mars  going backwards for a while will help your peace of mind that you have not had in a long time .The sun and Uranus in your house of work and health will help start a new health program.

You may need to be alone a little more this coming week and as you take time out inspiration can come to you regarding unfinished project or situations .Take heed to not plan travel in this time frame until late month.

Change is not always good ,however this next week it will be inevitable so be prepared to accept what you cannot change and know all will be ok in the long run. You will be having visitors or contact from people not hard from in a long time.

Any unfinished business from the past should be taken care of soonest, until you do best to not make any waves this week ahead.  The reward will be you have learned that some things you cannot change and some you can not afford.

The past few weeks have been full of problems in varying degrees for you and better
to let this go now. This month Venus the love planet will visit you for several weeks so expect deep dreams and flashes of powerful intuition .Listen to that voice is very good for you.
