Was there a particular reason you chose LA ?
What do you miss most from home?
That has to be my Staffordshire bull terrier/ Labrador mix dog, Jordie. And my Dad, Rob. Its hard not seeing them everyday. Oh and also Jammie Dodgers.
What was your first impression of LA?
It was a little overwhelming at first. You don't really realise how vast Los Angeles actually is until you get here. But now even though its only been a week I'm beginning to get to grips with it. Thanks especially to my friend Emyli. Today I even navigated the metro by myself and didn't get lost.
What do you find the biggest difference is living here versus Birmingham?
The biggest difference, besides the weather, is how polite everyone is.You walk into a shop and are greeted and they are so helpful.
Do you have a hidden gem in LA that you want to share with us?
That would probably have to be The Last Bookstore. It is a cute and quirky place and if you cant find the book your looking for you really will never find it. But I look forward to discovering others as I continue to explore the city. www.thelastbookstorela.com
What would you suggest to others who are thinking about making the move here ?
I would say just go for it, do it. I never thought I'd be here but here I am and I have no regrets.
Parks and Recreation, as I am working towards a goal and I may have my up and downs, but I always remember to have a laugh and what is really important.
