If 2020 was the year of staying home I think that makes 2022 the antithesis.
We’ve gone from ‘not going out’ to ‘ let’s dip our toes back in’
then overnight it seems we accelerated to being social butterflies making up for lost time. Whilst fun, it can be rather exhausting especially when we, (or me, at least) are so out of practice.
The world might be our oyster, but I thought I would save you some valuable time and highlight a few upcoming events that I think might be the pearls we are all searching for.
Obviously I would be amiss to not mention events on the Brits in LA calendar
First up is our collaboration with the BABC and BritWeek - this is the perfect event for those of you who enjoy a garden party vibe
A belated celebration for THE QUEEN'S PLATINUM JUBILEE

Lots of great entertainment lined up for this, including the legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold

If you are more of a pub person you can’t go wrong with our weekly quiz night at the Market Tavern located at the Farmers Market at the Grove. It is every Tuesday at 7.30pm hosted by fun loving Brit, Sandro Monetti. It’s free to play and get there early if you need help finding a team to join.

The football fans amongst you might be interested to hear that Gareth Bale has just signed with LAFC - he was expected to make his debut on July 8th but visa issues put a spanner in the works - just goes to show that immigration hiccups can happen to anyone. I’m sure he is itching to play and will be on the field as soon as that visa stamp is in his passport - visit www.lafc.com for the latest updates.
Visit LAFC's instagram to watch the fans welcome him at last nights game - view here

I think everybody loves a good concert don’t they? Los Angeles is like Piccadilly Circus, particularly this year. If you can stay here long enough you will probably see most of your favourite acts popping in to do a show. I would recommend checking out Fred again.. who will be at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery at the end of September - but if that’s not your cup of tea you are bound to find something on the Hollywood Bowl calendar - as they are celebrating their 100th anniversary and have the line up to prove it
Visit www.hollywoodbowl.com
Don’t forget to pace yourself; there is always fun stuff to do in LA so it doesn’t matter if you can’t go to everything.
If you have any questions or comments or want to share any news drop us a line at here
Cheers
Eileen
