Our inbox has been filled with goodness this week, which is a very welcome change.
First up is the marvelous news that our dear friend and founding Brits in LA member Martin Samuel was ( finally!) made an MBE.

It is a well deserved honour for the three-times Oscar-nominated international film hairstylist. Martin helped to create iconic looks for Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow, Madonna’s Eva in Evita and David Bowie’s red-and-blond look in The Man Who Fell To Earth.
Congratulations Martin, we are delighted for you!
British artist Katie Bright may have been rather quiet for the last couple of years, but her hard work has finally paid off! This week sees the launch of her latest creation “Bad Romance” .
Artlounge Collective presents its third fine art showing at Mondrian Los Angeles with Katie’s redefined wallpaper collection displaying at the hotel’s Magic Box exhibit, June 3-August 1, 2022.
A new, hand-painted mural from the artist appears at the Skybar Los Angeles entrance through till November
