Remembering Shirley Greene

Sadly our dear friend and long time Brits in LA member Shirley Greene passed away earlier this week. 

Every year we would announce our ever increasing membership numbers and without fail Shirley would be the first to comment

“I was one of the first” and she was.

And one of the most supportive

She was as proud of us as we were to have her as a member.

Shirley was truly amazing, fabulous and one of a kind, but her most unique skill was that she had a knack of making whomever had the pleasure of her company feel extra special.

Reading the hundreds of tributes dedicated to her this week really highlighted that.

I think we should all aim to be more like Shirley and make those around us feel that at that moment in time they are the most important thing in the world.

You will be sorely missed Shirley Greene.
